Born and raised in the great state of North Carolina, Corey Roman is a woman on a mission. Her life’s purpose is to help busy working women reach their full potential by regaining control of their lives and creating a work-life balance through holistic one-on-one personalized coaching, empowering workshops, strategic goal setting, and accountability. Corey will show you how to S.L.A.Y in this thing called life so that you can show up powerfully like the BOSS you are!
Armed with a background in nursing, mental health, and wellness, Corey has overcome great adversity to get to where she is today. After a near death experience in a horrible car accident that left her unable to walk, Corey refused to accept her fate. She fought and struggled until she stood on her own two feet, going so far as to deliver a speech at her college graduation. That determination has become the standard by which she compares all of life’s adversities.
Corey has a Masters of Science in Nursing and a Masters in Nursing Administration from UNCG and Frontier Nursing University. She has gone on to author multiple journal articles, and one book entitled Born to S.L.A.Y. Corey has also been featured in JMPI Brand Magazine, an Atlanta based platform highlighting the work of business leaders, artists, entrepreneurs and many other professions. She has also been featured in Women AdvaNCe, Forsyth Woman -Women on the Move and Focus Magazine. Corey also hosts Self Care & Wellness Conferences and Seminars. Conferences are to empower and inspire women of the community to take better care of themselves (mind, body, and soul) This combination has allowed her to help individuals transform their lives by taking ownership of their health and happiness.
A mother of one beautiful daughter, Corey now resides in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where she is the proud owner of Special Touch Holistic Care & Educational Services LLC. Her goal is to empower and inspire others while helping them live the life that they desire.
